Detroit Exceeding Time Limit Ticket!

The ticket writers are crazy in this city. I was parked for an hour and fifty minutes and returned to find a ticket for exceeding my 2 hour limit. I can’t afford this ticket, but if I don’t pay they’ll be able to tow my car. Very unfair.
Night Club Admits Liability in Detroit DUI Case

Because of a video from the club’s own cameras, there is proof that Ronnie S Jackson was over-served. The state of Michigan provides for a dram shop rule. This rule states a bar or restaurant can be held liable for serving alcohol to a visibly intoxicated person if the person later causes injury. Dram shop arguments are often difficult to substantiate because they require proof a person was visibly intoxicated and the server knew the person was intoxicated.
The video shows him consuming at least 10 drinks, passing out, then vomiting. Jackson caused an accident involving 9 vehicles, causing one death and injuring 3 when he left The Pantheon Club that night. The club has admitted it was at least partially responsible for over-serving a patron and is being sued for approximately $10 million in damages.
