Got a fix it ticket for this last week. (By the way, fix it tickets now cost money.) It makes me wonder if the Portland PD have anything better to do than write tickets like this.

Portland Police Issue 55 Tickets During First Cell-Phone Patrol

Portland Police issued 55 tickets in one day in compliance with a two-week-old law, banning the use of hand-held cell phones while driving. Under the law, drivers may not text or talk on the phone with hand held device while behind the wheel. Conversely, Oregon State Police issued zero tickets and four warnings on highways during the same day.
