Muni Gets Time Wrong: 510 Drivers Get a Ticket

In an “innocent” mistake from the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, more than 500 drivers were erroneously ticketed. After attaching “front-facing video cameras” to public buses, in an effort to nab drivers who park in “transit only lanes,” the department forgot to adjust the clocks on the cameras, per daylight savings time. As a result, more than 500 motorists received bogus tickets.
Motorcyclist Arrested for DUI, Resisting Arrest In North Concord

A 34 year old Vallejo man has been arrested and charged with DUI, Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest after officers pulled him over in North Concord on Sunday night. After witnessing the motorcyclist driving recklessly, officers pulled him over and were “violently resisted” by the suspect, before they were able to bring him under control with the help of a taser.

With the lack of parking spaces in SF, I think they should grant us a little more time to let drivers in and out of our cars. I wasn’t blocking any cars who were tryig to leave, and I was only sitting there for a minute while I waited for someone to come to my car. Seems very unfair, and I can’t afford this ticket.
