The SFMTA wrote me a ticket for exceeding my 2 hour time limit. Funny thing was that I hadn’t been there for 2 hours – and I had proof in the form of a toll road receipt that showed I couldn’t have been parked in that spot when the officer claimed he first spotted my vehicle. Nice try, SFMTA. It only makes me wonder how many poor saps weren’t as lucky as me.

After getting a b.s. parking ticket for exceeding my 2 hour limit, I was able to beat the ticket by providing a receipt from a toll road that showed my car could not have been parked in the spot when the officer claimed to have first seen it. My advice: keep all receipts.
