Over Time Limit

If you receive a ticket for exceeding the allotted time-frame allowed in that space, double-check the ticket for the time that the citation was issued. Often, if you are within a minute or two of the permitted time-frame, a judge will give you the benefit of the doubt.

I am completely sick of Ausitn’s parking enforcement. I was parked in a 2-hour zone for 1:57 minutes. (I know it’s close, but I checked the time carefully – I am correct about this.) I got a ticket for exceeding the 2 hour limit, and am experienced enough to know that I have no shot at beating this.
