Red Light Cameras

It’s important to remember that red light camera tickets are only valid if the registered owner of the vehicle is the one driving. Be sure to check over the ticket carefully and make sure there are no errors. Additionally, many cities offer a settlement program which allows drivers to pay a fraction of the actual cost of the citation.

Somebody got a red light camera ticket in my car? Do I have to pay it?
You shouldn’t have to pay it, but they may ask you to identify the driver. As far as I know you’re not legally required to give them the driver’s information though. Good luck.
