If ticketed for blocking an alley or a driveway, taking pictures of the scene is a good idea. If you happen to have a tape measure, ask a witness to assist you in measuring the distance and ask for their contact information, if possible.

I got a ticket for blocking a driveway. I thought there was plenty of room for a car to get out of the driveway. I was only two feet into the driveway. Is there a minimum distance a car must be from a driveway?
