Permit Parking Only

If ticketed for parking in a Permit-Only Zone, make sure that the sign is clearly visible. If it isn’t, take a picture of it and bring it with you if you contest the citation.








I just got a pretty silly one for $75 last night that I don’t think I should have to pay. (I parked underneath a signpost with three signs: 1 that said Allston/Brighton permit parking, next that said street cleaning, and one that said it was a tow zone. I assumed the tow zone meant that you’d be towed for street cleaning – cause how could it be a permit parking spot if it’s always a tow zone? According to my ticket – it’s always a tow zone, though they did not tow me…)
