Permit Parking Only

If ticketed for parking in a Permit-Only Zone, make sure that the sign is clearly visible. If it isn’t, take a picture of it and bring it with you if you contest the citation.

    Is there any rule which states how far a sign must be posted to a permit-only zone? I received a ticket and when I asked the officer where the sign was, he pointed practically a block away. I told him I didn’t think that sign covered the entire area – he shrugged and gave me the ticket.
