No Parking

If ticketed for parking in a “No Parking” zone, make sure the sign is visible, and the citation reflects the parameters of the sign. Also, be sure to check for any errors on the ticket which could result in a dismissal. (i.e., license plate number, time of day, etc.)

I’ve been parking in the same spot in front of my house for the last 4 years – since I moved in. Then, all of a sudden I get a ticket for parking in a No Parking Zone! It’s ridiculous for them not to enforce this law in certain areas and then one day surprise people with tickets. It’s BS!
Sign says “No parking This side of sign” . Hmmm that seems to imply that parking on the OTHER side of the sign is legal. Apparently NOT. I received a $45 dollar parking ticket for parking on the OTHER side of the sign. Unbelievable! why have a stupid sign like that instead of “No Parking allowed” or “No Parking this side of Street”? Anyway, I just want to know if anyone has fought this parking ticket and won?
If you took pictures of your car in the offending or unoffending spot as evidence of its location to the sign, and your cars’ position, then you may have a case. Otherwise you’re shit outta luck my friend.
