If ticketed for parking in a Permit-Only Zone, make sure that the sign is clearly visible. If it isn’t, take a picture of it and bring it with you if you contest the citation.

Do ticket agents only look at the rear view mirror of a car when searching for a permit? My permit tore so I had to set it on my dashboard – in plain view through the windshield. Still, I got a ticket.
