No Parking

If ticketed for parking in a “No Parking” zone, make sure the sign is visible, and the citation reflects the parameters of the sign. Also, be sure to check for any errors on the ticket which could result in a dismissal. (i.e., license plate number, time of day, etc.)

If anyone can beat this, I’ll be impressed. I live in the mid-Wilshire area and recently got a ticket for parking in a No-Parking Zone. The No Parking restriction was due to road-work being done in front of my house. The only problem is that I was out of town when the road-work began (and when I got the ticket) so I couldn’t move my car when they tied a No Parking sign around a light-pole. That’s right – they tied a No Parking sign around a light pole in front of my house and then had the nerve to write me a ticket. Stay classy, Los Angeles!
I got a No Parking ticket on Robertson Blvd. I didn’t notice the 2 inch x 2 inch square sign that said something about Valet Parking Only. It’s ridiculous because the restaurant wasn’t even open. Any why does that restaurant get that space anyway? I could have parked in a regular space (right next to the spot I parked in) but I didn’t notice the tiny little sign.
