Always be sure to question the officer about the reasoning behind the stop? (Did he estimate your speed, or have you on radar, etc.) Inconsistencies in the officer’s story could help you beat your ticket if you decide to contest it.








I got a speeding ticket (going 57 in a 45) coming down a hill from the 118 freeway in the San Fernando Valley. The cop was waiting at the bottom of the slope with a speed gun. Here’s my question: Is this really the best use of our taxpayer money and police force time? I highly doubt it. It is, however, an excellent way to ensure revenue.
