If ticketed for parking in a “No Parking” zone, make sure the sign is visible, and the citation reflects the parameters of the sign. Also, be sure to check for any errors on the ticket which could result in a dismissal. (i.e., license plate number, time of day, etc.)

I’d just like to say that the city needs to do better with signage. Sometimes it’s hard to find a sign that let’s you know whether or not you’re allowed to park. And then when you finally do find a sign, they’re nearly impossible to decipher. Of course, this might be on purpose so these rip-off artists can write as many as tickets as possible. Cause it’s all about the revenue, isn’t it NY?
