When you receive a parking ticket, always carefully check the ticket for errors. While they may seem trivial, any error from the parking enforcement officer (license plate number, time of day, etc.) could result in a dismissal of the ticket.

I got a ticket for blocking a pedestrian ramp. However, since there was no sign making the curb as a pedestrian ramp (which I took plenty of pictures of to prove) the ticket was dismissed!
