Always be sure to question the officer about the reasoning behind the stop? (Did he estimate your speed, or have you on radar, etc.) Inconsistencies in the officer’s story could help you beat your ticket if you decide to contest it.








I actually got a ticket for following another driver too closely in NYC last week. How is that even possible? With all the traffic, how can one possibly be expected to keep much distance between between their car and the one in front of them? And on top of that, if this is such a “dangerous” offense, then why aren’t cabs pulled over more?
