No Parking

If ticketed for parking in a “No Parking” zone, make sure the sign is visible, and the citation reflects the parameters of the sign. Also, be sure to check for any errors on the ticket which could result in a dismissal. (i.e., license plate number, time of day, etc.)

I think it’s a little unfair to give a ticket for violating a new No Parking zone. I’ve been parking in the same area near my office for over a year and recently it became a No Parking zone. I didn’t know, and wasn’t looking at the signs since it’s never been a problem in the past. There should some sort of 30-day grace period.
