Red Light Cameras

It’s important to remember that red light camera tickets are only valid if the registered owner of the vehicle is the one driving. Be sure to check over the ticket carefully and make sure there are no errors. Additionally, many cities offer a settlement program which allows drivers to pay a fraction of the actual cost of the citation.

Allegedly, I turned right on a red light without making a complete stop. I think I did – but if I didn’t, I must have been so close to stopping completely, that this ticket is just insane. Not to mention the fact that there were no cars coming. Anyone who thinks these cameras are anything more than cash-cows for the government is dillusional.
