No Parking

If ticketed for parking in a “No Parking” zone, make sure the sign is visible, and the citation reflects the parameters of the sign. Also, be sure to check for any errors on the ticket which could result in a dismissal. (i.e., license plate number, time of day, etc.)

I was parked in the same spot I always park in during my lunch hour last week. The closest “No Parking” sign is about a block North from where I left my car. Can this be a valid ticket?
Yep. And that’s pretty much exactly what’s going on these days. The city is enforcing situations that they used to let slide because they’re desperate for money. You’re probably screwed. Sorry, Abraham.
