Over Time Limit

If ticketed for exceeding the allotted time-frame allowed in that space, double-check the ticket for the time that the citation was issued. Often, if you are within a minute or two of the permitted time-frame, a judge will give you the benefit of the doubt.

    Has anyone ever been ripped off by one of these? I’m 99.99% sure I had not been parked for more than 1:45, and yet I got a ticket for exceeding a 2 hour time-frame. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

      It happens more than you think. Unless you have some sort of proof (ATM receipt, toll road receipt, etc) you’re probably screwed. Welcome to Portland.
