Blocking Alley or Driveway

If ticketed for blocking a garage or driveway, taking pictures of the scene is a good idea. If you happen to have a tape measure, ask a witness to assist you in measuring the distance and ask for their contact information, if possible.

I just received a Parking ticket by one of those Police service officers. I had just gotten home, I had parked my car in front of my driveway. My wife parks in front of our house, My neighbor parks in front of her, I have a truck parked in my driveway, So I always park in front of my driveway.
I look outside and the Lady officer is walking up to my car, I go outside and ask her what is wrong ????,
She says Is this your car ??? I say yes.
She says, I’m giving you a ticket.
I say, for what ????
She says, for blocking the driveway.
I said, What ???? Are you kidding me ??? This is my house. That’s my truck in the driveway. I’m not blocking anyone !!!!
I said, I didn’t know that. And asked her for a warning please.
She said, No warning.
I’m like, Great Thanks.
She writes me up, while I’m standing there.
She then asks me, What’s the name of this street ?????
I say, You should know !!!!! Go walk to the corner and look at the sign on the light pole. : P
She said, really ?????
I said, Really ???? Go F your self, Beyotch. And walked inside.
The ticket turned out to be 45.00 dollars for CVC 22500 (e) Blocking Driveway. Bull$hiat !!!!!!
I have never had an issue parking in front of my driveway in 2+ years that I have owned my house.
That’s a tough story. I dont understand why they wouldnt just issue a warning at first.
