Bus Zone Violations

If ticketed for parking in a Bus-Zone, check to make sure that your car is, in fact, overlapping with the prohibited zone. Often times, overly aggressive parking enforcement officers will ticket cars which are only close to the prohibited area. If you feel you’ve been ticketed incorrectly, take pictures of the scene and try to get witness accounts as well.

I was dropping off my GF and pulled over into a bus stop. Yes I know this is bad, but there were no busses to be seen and I thought this was better than blocking traffic on a busy Polk street. While I was in the car saying goodbye (Car still on, my girlfriend was getting out) a parking meter guy pulled up behind me and turned on his little lights.
Two months later a got a parking ticket in the mail. The best part was they sent it to my old address so I got two late charge fee assigned to it (nothing says love then a $123 + $2.50 service fee). Parking police brings nothing to the table (except for a little revenue that they get to pay their salaries). Hate those guys.
