Loading Zone Tickets

If ticketed for parking in a “Loading Zone” make sure that your car is, in fact, in the boundaries of the Loading Zone. After that, carefully check the ticket for any errors. While they may seem trivial, any error from the parking enforcement officer (license plate number, time of day, etc.) could result in a dismissal of the ticket.

I’d like some clarification on the loading zone laws in SF. I was loading a truck last week and spent about 10 mins inside a building, loading the boxes. When I got back I saw a ticket agent finishing up a citation and placing it on my windshield. When I confronted him and told him that I was, indeed, loading he said that I took too long inside the building. I asked him where the signage was that noted the time-restrictions and got a blank stare.
