Over Time Limit

If ticketed for exceeding the allotted time-frame allowed in that space, double-check the ticket for the time that the citation was issued. Often, if you are within a minute or two of the permitted time-frame, a judge will give you the benefit of the doubt.

The SFMTA wrote me a ticket for exceeding my 2 hour time limit. Funny thing was that I hadn’t been there for 2 hours – and I had proof in the form of a toll road receipt that showed I couldn’t have been parked in that spot when the officer claimed he first spotted my vehicle. Nice try, SFMTA. It only makes me wonder how many poor saps weren’t as lucky as me.
Hey SuzanneSS. Same thing pretty much happened to me. I once again got a ticket for two hour parking when I was only parked for an hour and fifteen minutes. This is the second time this has happend, last time I was only parked for fourty five minutes. Do these idiots not know how to tell time or is this department really this underhanded and corrupt?
Someone should expose these clowns for what they really are.
