Red Light Cameras

It’s important to remember that red light camera tickets are only valid if the registered owner of the vehicle is the one driving. Be sure to check over the ticket carefully and make sure there are no errors. Additionally, many cities offer a settlement program which allows drivers to pay a fraction of the actual cost of the citation.

I got a red-light camera ticket for supposedly making a right turn on a red light. It was 530am and there were no cars around. Is this really the spirit of the law? I don’t think it is. I think the government is using us ATM machines. I sincerely believe that we must vote out all city council members who support these programs. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
I do. The red light cameras are a scam, plain and simple. But, until we start holding council members responsible for supporting these “tax” machines on drivers – which do nothing to improve safety, then nothing will change.
